Health Questions Answered

Q Am I healthy enough to follow this diet?
A
Don’t ask me – ask your doctor. If you are of normal health and fit enough to safely exercise to lose 7 pounds, there should be no problem losing the same by following the Weightloss77 diet plan. If you have even the slightest doubts, you must contact your doctor before starting any diet, and if necessary also during the diet. ^

Q I’m a diabetic – can I do the diet?
A
If you are overweight and diabetic, losing weight will probably be very good for you, but always contact your doctor and ask if this diet will be suitable for you. If you take insulin, you should ask if you need to make any dose changes, and you should never be alone during the entire diet. ^

Q I’m a teenager and not yet fully grown – can I do the diet?
A
I’m always concerned with young people, because there are so many anorectic girls (mostly girls), who scan the net constantly to find new ways of slowly killing themselves. I was very sad to see, that Weightloss77 was mentioned in some blogs run by anorectic girls during last summer, because they need help – not a diet. Luckily they have stopped talking about Weightloss77, so I hope they have found it not to be useful for their purpose. ^
…So the answer to the question must be: If you are overweight or obese, then yes, probably – in any other case: NO!
In my late teens, I used this diet to successfully lose about 45 lbs of overweight, so it works for young people as well as old, but when you are still growing, it is even more important, that you always get all the different vitamins and minerals needed by your body, so show the diet plan to your doctor, and ask if he or she thinks it is safe, and ask if you need to take any supplements. If you need to repeat the diet in order to reach your target, you must eat normal and well balanced food for at least 2 (or better 3) weeks between diet weeks. ^

Q Why should I avoid sodas during the diet?
A
Sparkling mineral water, diet cola and all other sodas with next to no calories will not disturb the function of Weightloss77, but they all contain carbonic acid. When your body breaks down fat, some of the waste products are also acids. For some people this will be too much acid, so it will affect their well being and health. Early signs of problems with the acid balance are headache, joint pains, and that the body will retain water. If you have these symptoms in your daily life, it could be because you are usually eating too much fat and meat, but during the diet, you should be able to avoid it, by not drinking sodas. ^

Q I lost 5 lbs on the first day – is it safe to go on?
A
Don’t worry – you won’t continue at that rate. When you eat only fruits, as you do on the first day of Weightloss77, you are actually cleaning your body. You get rid of undigested food and excess water – some have dropped up to 10 lbs. If you lose 5 lbs or more on the first day, it could be a sign that you have trouble with your acid balance, so to avoid problems, you should seriously consider the above advice about not drinking any kind of sodas during the diet. ^

Q My pee is not clear – am I sick?
A
Assuming your pee was clear before… During diets like Weightloss77, your body must get rid of lots of waste products, sometimes they will even be visible in your pee. It should be over by the end of the diet, or a few days after – if not you should contact your doctor. ^

Q Is there a wrestling team practicing in my stomach?
A
The secret behind this diet, is that your digestive system has to work hard to digest the food – so hard that it will cost you several pounds of fat. So much work can’t be done without some noise, so especially on the banana and milk day, and on the beef and tomato day, it is very common to both hear and feel something going on inside. ^

Q Could I have gotten diarrhea from the diet?
A
Probably not, but the fiber rich food in the diet will pass through your system much faster than the typical diet of overweight people. Combined with your stomachs heavy work digesting the food, this could force you to run a little faster to the toilet than usually. The condition is not contagious, and should be over by the end of the diet – otherwise contact your doctor. ^

Q Why can’t I eat as much after, as I could before the diet?
A
All the fiber rich food items in Weightloss77 will pass through your system very fast, so your stomach doesn’t get bloated. Personally I think, that maybe the stomach also shrinks, because of the powerful "exercise" that Weightloss77 is to your stomach. Anyway, the end effect is, that after a full week of being small, your stomach will not be prepared for a giant meal right away. This will help you stay slim, so don’t stuff yourself. ^

General Diet Questions Answered

Q I hate the soup - can I do the diet without?
A
Yes you can lose weight with Weightloss77 without eating the soup, but without the soup, you will feel more hungry, so it could be harder for you to get through. Since it takes more calories (=fat) to digest the soup, than you will get from eating it, you will also lose less calories, and thereby less fat, compared to someone who does eat the soup. ^

Q I’m a vegetarian – can I do the diet without meat?
A
Yes, if you are a vegetarian who eat eggs, you can replace the beef with eggs. Several have tried this, and they have all lost weight within the normal range. If you also don’t eat eggs, I don’t have a verified solution for you – I have suggested some to try tofu, but so far had no feedback. ^

Q I hate vegetables – can I do the diet without?
A
No – vegetables are a big part of this diet, and it wouldn’t work without them, but use your imagination – with the choice of nearly every vegetable in the world, raw boiled or baked – there must be something you like – maybe a mixed salad? If you can’t eat vegetables you must make sure to eat your daily vitamins, and then try one or more of the products you see advertized on Specials. Unlike Weightloss77, you have to pay for these, but I have collected some very good offers, so you can try them at a highly reduced price. ^

Q Is it ok to drink alcohol during the diet?
A
No – one gram of alcohol has even more calories than one gram of sugar, and with easy accessible energy like that, you will not burn any fat. ^

Q Can I drink cream/milk in my Coffee/tea?
A
No – although a sip of skimmed milk in your tea would probably not make any difference – problem is, that quite often it will be very difficult to judge exactly what kind of milk/cream you get, and how many calories is in it, so better safe than sorry... ^

Q Which types of soft drinks can I drink?
A
You can only drink types with nearly zero calories. This banns all juices and nearly all other fruit drinks or sodas, because even if they are called “light” or “diet”, they will normally have some natural fruit sugar. Read the label to be sure. Mineral water and diet colas are ok as far as the calories go, but some dieters should voided them because of the carbonic acid. ^

Q Can I season the food with salt and spices?
A
Yes, if the food is tasty, you are more likely to enjoy and complete the diet, so be creative with the herbs and spices. Many diets prescribe no salt at all, because salt will retain water in your body, and thereby make you lose less weight. I assume that you are going for a lasting result, and in that case it makes no sense to drop a little water now, that you would get back as soon as you start eating normally again, so I would go for the better dieting experience and use a little salt. A lot of salt is never healthy, but the best you can do to avoid it in your daily life, is to stay away from pizzas and other fast food products – home cooked meals will normally have much less salt. ^

Q Can I eat bread with the soup?
A
No – you can have no bread at all during the diet – bread will slow your digestion down and prevent the diet from working. ^

Q What is a bouillon cube?
A
A bouillon cube is a little block of “condensed soup”. The most internationally known brands are probably Knorr and Maggi, but there are several more expensive brands for gourmets or vegans, and most supermarket chains have their own low cost brand. In some areas you might not be able to get vegetable bouillon cubes, but then you can probably buy chicken bouillon cubes, that will also give a very tasty soup. They contain a little chicken fat, but not enough to disturb the diet. ^

Q Can I eat my usual oatmeal/serials for breakfast?
A
No – just as any other starchy products, like bread, rice and pasta, they will slow down your digestion and ruin the diet. ^

Questions about Specific Days Answered

Q Can I eat canned fruits?
A
Generally not – most canned fruits come in some kind of syrup, and even if you throw away the syrup, they will still be full of sugar. ^

Q Can I eat canned vegetables?
A
Generally yes – except where they come in a sauce. The tomato juice in a can of skinned tomatoes is not considered a sauce. ^

Q Can I use pickles as vegetables?
A
No, most pickles have a lot of sugar, that will ruin your diet. ^

Q Can I have salad dressing with my vegetables?
A
No – even if it’s called “light” or “diet”, it will most likely have several ingredients that you can’t have during Weightloss77. ^

Q I can’t eat vegetables alone – can I have some gravy?
A
No gravy, ketchup, mayo or anything like that, but if you like, you can take some of the soup, add some extra spices and blend it to form a vegetable sauce – it can be quite tasty. ^

Q Are avocados allowed on the vegetable days?
A
No, generally not. Avocados have a lot of fat, so eating an avocado salad will not be good for your diet, but a few small cubes in a big bowl of salad would not harm. ^

Q Are olives allowed on the vegetable days?
A
No, generally not. Olives have a lot of fat, so they will not be good for your diet, but cutting a few olives into little pieces as a spice in a big bowl of salad would not harm. I would suggest using capers instead – they have more taste and less calories. ^

Q Can I add some bacon or smoked salmon to my salad?
A
No – on the vegetable days, you can have salad if you want, but it cant contain eggs or meat or fish or croutons or seeds or other things that are not prescribed in the diet. ^

Q I don’t like baked potatoes – can I replace it?
A
Yes – if you don’t like baked potatoes, or it’s not possible for you to get or make one where you are, you can replace it with French fries, but it must be the crispy Belgium style (like in McDonalds) – not the greasy Greek/English style. No ketchup or mayo. ^

Q Can I save the baked potato for the beef day?
A
No. Weightloss77 is based on combinations of different food items – if you switch them around, the diet will not work. ^

Q I’m allergic to milk – can I replace it?
A
No, but you can drop the milk – the diet will still work. ^

Q I don’t eat beef – can I replace it?
A
Yes, many have tried chicken breast (without skin) with very good success. A few also with fish like tuna. You can even eat eggs, if you prefer not to eat meat at all. ^

Q Is it ok to eat a burger on the beef days?
A
No – a burger is very little beef, and lots of stuff that you can’t eat during Weightloss77. ^

Q Can I use canned beef or burger steaks?
A
I wouldn’t recommend it – industrialized minced beef steaks like that are very often filled with anything but beef, but check the content label – I might be wrong with your favorite brand. ^

Q Can I have gravy with my beef?
A
No, not traditional gravy, but you can take some of the soup, add some extra spices and blend it to form a vegetable gravy – it can be quite tasty. ^

Q Can I have a glass of wine with my beef?
A
No, on the beef days, you can practically have “party food”, but unfortunately you can’t have wine to complete the nice meals. Wine and all other alcoholic beverages will give you lots of easy accessible calories, that will completely ruin the effect of Weightloss77. ^
