How to stay slim after your diet

It is a universal truth, that if you burn less calories than you get from the food you eat, you will gain weight, so to stay slim, you must either increase your burn rate, or decrease your calorie intake. Preferably you should do both, and it’s really not very hard. Here are just a few ideas – once you get the picture, I’m sure you will be able to figure out which changes you need to make in your daily life.

Increase your burn rate.
Everyone knows, that if you run, you will burn more calories than when you walk, but have you ever thought about that the same applies for walking over standing, standing over sitting and sitting over lying? This means that you don’t have to start jogging, if you don’t feel up to it. I think this is very important information, because lots of people don’t exercise, because they think it’s to hard for them. With this knowledge, you can start your “exercise” very softly, by sitting in your chair instead of lying on the couch, by standing instead of sitting in front of the computer, etc. The point is to start looking for slightly more active alternatives to everything you used to do. An additional benefit of being more active, is that it will make your muscles grow, and having bigger muscles will increase your burn rate by itself.

Decrease your calorie intake by eating less.
Already after your first time on Weightloss77, you will have noticed, that you were no longer able to eat the same meal sizes as before – the “internal exercise” that this diet gives you, has tightened up your digestive system, so there’s no longer room for the trucker meal. Unfortunately that effect will ware off after only a week or two, if you keep forcing too much food down your throat, so it is very important that you start listening to your body. Are you really still hungry? If not, then stop eating. Try to fill your plate less or order smaller meals, eat the food slowly, and then ask yourself, if you really need to eat more.

Decrease your calorie intake by diet changes.
If you had eaten more wisely before, you probably wouldn’t have gained weight in the first place, but that’s all history. Now you have to look forward and change the future. To make a long term diet change achievable, it’s best to take it slow. I suggest you try to incorporate some of what you have learned during Weightloss77 into your normal routine. You could do that by taking a fruit day once every few weeks or by replacing one of your usual meals or snacks by the soup a few times during the week. You could even make a condensed Weightloss77 day every now and then, by eating fruit in the morning, bananas and milk for lunch and beef and tomatoes for dinner. After you have managed to include these little breaks in your previous routine, it will be easier for you to slowly drift over to better eating habits, where you will eat…

  • More fruits and vegetables
  • Less, but better and leaner meat
  • Less bread, pasta and potatoes
  • More self-made, and less industrial food

Finally you should consider having both sweet, sour, salty and bitter tasting ingredients in each meal – the fuller taste will satisfy your hunger faster, so you won’t overeat, whereas the overrepresentation of salty and sweet tastes in most industrial and fast food seems to prompt food craving.
